With this constant news of crashes, altitude drops, near misses at airports & on runways one just has to sit & wonder why do these events happen one after the other so quickly & then suddenly drop off the radar like the planes themselves. These national air carriers are running in losses so why isnt the government privatising them unless there is something more to its balance sheets then meets the eyes. Or are the government employees & politicans so have with the free flyer program that they dont give a shit for the safety of other middle class people using these aircrafts. We used to use the manglore airport whilst studying in manipal & often when fetching my sis from the airport (i was budgeted to use the bus only) i used to wonder how the hell is the plane going to land on this table top runway & what if it misses - straight down. Thats what exactly what happened. Wonder what we common people see so obviously is so blinded to the experts of civil aviation. For the next event where the pilot went to the loo, wtf was the co pilot doing. He couldnt have missed what was happening inside the cockpit unless he was used to assisting the pilot in all his works including this one. Why in the world wasnt he opening the door to the cockpit. He couldnt have been with another airhostess as most of them are probably the age of hos grand mother. He could have been busy watching the latest bips video on youtube which my bil must have emailed to him too though it originated from bahrain. Today heard of a near miss at the runway when a flight was cleared for landing while there was another flight already under repair on the runway. Are these traffic controllers blind or what or they hell bent on appearing on these news channels for the wrong reasons. Most of the latest mishaps happening to flights from dubai. Is the duty free liquor a reason for this. I really wish the authorities put their foot down & screw these unions for calling flash strikes at the drop of a dick, tom or harry. They are so used to getting phokat ka salary & free flights that they dont care about the lives of millions of people who still feel pride in flying indian carriers & also cos they are definetly affordable. Please stop this or your tagline that Air India express is your permanent palace in the sky will so come true.
