The path of forgiveness...

Forgiveness enhances our ability to see things better and in a more holistic manner.

If we do not forgive someone then we choose to play in the wrong hands. We behave exactly how the other person wanted us to... thereby failing to be what we are.

In life there are moments of joy and sorrow...that are commanded by the thoughts that take our attention under the microscope of mind.

Human mind which is a dynamic field of imagination, conditionings and logic strives to assess, assimilate and acquire thoughts that surround our physical and emotional being. These thoughts manifest as anger, prejudice or hatred.

Thoughts are largely driven by our ego and super ego. The science of Sahaja Yoga explains these elements as the two streams of energy channels which are juxtaposed within the human body – the left sympathetic nervous system and the right sympathetic nervous system.

When we engage our mind into thoughts about the future and our lives start revolving around the future plans the right sympathetic nervous system gets over heated which causes an imbalanced personality.

We may get unnecessary headaches and other health problems which we may identify being caused due to stress in our lives.

However, if we try walking on the beach and if we put our feet into the sea water we may find a lot of stress being eliminated from our minds. This happens because sea has the great power to take away our toxins into its great depths and therefore cool the human subtle system (right sympathetic nervous system). These great depths are symbolic of the depths that we have within ourselves and that we need to seek.

When we seek the depths within, we are able to rise above the illusions of life and we understand how forgiveness makes our journey of self-realisation easier and more meaningful. Once we learn to forgive people, we grow within ourselves and become vibrant and joyous because it is the only way to unburden our lives and jump into the ocean of joy.

I believe life is too short for keeping complaints against anybody. Time is always the best healer.
